Tank Utility's Auto Sync feature with the Cargas Energy integration makes it even easier to ensure your customer account data in Tank Utility stays up-to-date as information changes in Cargas.
Auto Sync keeps your information up-to-date every day without you needing to maintain any data changes between Cargas Energy and Tank Utility.

With Auto Sync enabled for a tank monitor in the Tank Utility Portal we:
- Update Cargas information every time a new tank reading is sent to Cargas
- Sync the following information
- Customer Name
- Tank Name
- Address
- Tank capacity
- Group (this is synced from the Delivery Zone or Service Zone in Cargas Energy, based on your preference)
To enable Auto Sync for your accounts in Tank Utility:
- Navigate to the Device Configuration page in the Tank Utility Portal for a tank monitor
- Once you have entered the Cargas Account Number and Tank Number, select IMPORT
- After importing your Cargas account information, select the AUTO SYNC checkbox to turn on Auto Sync
- Enabling Auto Sync also disables editing some fields on the Device Config page - these will be grayed out in your Tank Utility Portal
- Customer Name
- Tank Name
- Address
- Tank Capacity
- Group (this is synced from the Delivery Zone or Service Zone in Cargas Energy, based on your preference)
- To disable Auto Sync for any of your accounts, simply uncheck the AUTO SYNC checkbox on the Device Config page for the tank monitor you do not want to Auto Sync data
- This will also allow you to manually update synced fields on the Device Config page
