The Bulk Edit Tool

The Generac Fuels Portal offers and easy way to manage Tank Level Alerts, Alert Subscribers, Groups, and Fixed Monitor Reporting times for all or some of your monitors at once.

Navigating to the Bulk Edit Tool

From your main device list view, click on the small pencil icon:

This will set the device list to bulk edit mode:

Bulk edit mode has different settings for displayed columns, so be sure to check your column settings when in bulk edit mode to make sure you have the display information you want.

Making Bulk Edits

Once in bulk edit mode, you can select the monitors you want to make edits to by checking the boxes on the left of the list. You can select monitors individually, you can also select all monitors on the currently displayed device list page by clicking the box at the top of the device list, or you can select all monitors in your portfolio by clicking the "select all" button at the top of the device list:

Once you have selected the monitor you want to make edits to, click the "bulk edit" button, this will bring up the bulk edit wizard. Be aware that if you select a large number of monitors it may take a few seconds for the wizard to load:

From here you can select the settings you want to change. 

The "subscribers" settings allows you to set which users you want to receive alerts:

In the "alerts" portion you can set which alerts you want and what tank level you wish to alert at:

You can assign monitors to groups in your device list:

And you can set a fixed transmission time for the monitors you've selected:

Once you've made the edits you want to make, click the "review" button:

The wizard will then show the edits you've made and ask you to confirm them. Once you've confirmed the edits, they will be saved. Any alert and transmission time changes will take effect after next transmission on the previous schedule.
